Round table meeting "Enterprise climate in municipalities of Murmansk region"

Maria Perova the representative of KPI Holding took part in the round table meeting "Enterprise climate in municipalities of Murmansk region", passing within the III Murmansk International business week.

Within the meeting, results of the best municipal work experiences research in the sphere of investment climate improvement were presented "Investment municipality. Review of successful local self-government experience".

"Investment municipality" - is the joint expert project of Business Russia, KPI Holding and local governments directed on systematization, replication and scaling of the best management experience at the municipal level.

Relevance of this research is caused by awareness of municipalities role importance in favorable conditions creation for social and economic development of the country.

In the "Investment municipality. Review of successful local government experience" collection the most successful experiences of municipalities on favorable investment climate creation found reflection. In total 125 various municipalities took part in the research. The project geography stretches from western to eastern frontiers of Russia - from Belgorod to Khabarovsk. The municipalities of all types shared experience, from the small cities to million-strong cities - from Ples to Yekaterinburg.

In the course of work more than two hundred and thirty administrative decisions in various spheres of investment climate improvement were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the "Investment municipality. Review of successful local government experience" collection included 58 successful local governments experiences. The main selection criteria were: importance for the investor, economic effect from introduction, replicability and practice scalability.
