International Conference “REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT IN CORPORATIONS”

Deputy Director General of KPI Holding Viktor Zhurba took part in the international conference “Real Estate Management in Corporations” (REMIC 2013). The aim of the conference is to promote improvement of business climate in Russia by developing and facilitating effective mechanisms of management of large corporations’ assets.
Viktor Zhurba spoke in the section “Corporate property tax: prospects of transition to property tax” with the report “Analysis of economic consequences of introduction of the property tax”. During discussions in the section the participants spoke on problems related to low quality and incompleteness of information contained in Rosreestr registration systems, as well as problems related to cadaster evaluation in Russia. The stated problems carry significant risks in calculation of property taxes based on cadaster costs.
